To give the students practical experience in a work-oriented situation, particularly, in all aspects of library service; to help students develop good work habits, initiative, and responsibility; to have students learn about many different subjects by assisting others and by observing while workig with varied library materials; to give the librarian assistance in providing efficient library service.

A+ is a program for which students may earn up to $10,000 state-paid tuition for community colleges and trade schools. The main requirements are good citizenship, 50 hours of in-district unpaid tutoring, 95% attendance, and 2.5 or higher GPA.
